Bail terminology varies by state
Do not assume another state’s bail rules apply to your case. Use your state’s official resources and the actual court order.
Florida-specific example: in Chapter 903, “bail” and “bond” include all forms of pretrial release. This definition is not an eligibility decision and is not a rule for other states.
